The template.

An example of what one could do. The font is ludia grande bold, same as newsvine's. All the text is lowercase.

Oldfogey mentioned the need for press passes, so i created a few!

PLEASE JUST SAVE THESE AND EDIT THEM, DONT MOOCH NEWSVINE'S BANDWITH

The font for the text is ludicida grande bold, same as newsvine uses on its logo.

These are not real, just little toys if you will.

I converted them to jpg to get rid of the ugly black
Added a link.

This seems like the type of thing you might want to clear with the Newsvine staff first.

Also, press credentials issued from news outlets I have worked at include your real name, job title, picture, and sometimes a signature, as well.

These were just little jokes, what i suggested and what i made for an example are special, the example didnt reveal any personal data, if it were real, i would replace the newsvine vine with a pic, and put my name, a signiature, and a barcode.

These were just meant to be little things you could play with.

I wouldn't make these official press passes quite yet, but it seems a good place to start.

I don't know about press passes, but the blank one just became a new business card template.

There are a host of issues relating to the issuance of press passes, none of which we are ready to deal with at this point unfortunately. If, however, you're covering an event and you'll like to say you write for Newsvine, well of course that's just fine.

The problem with issuing press passes is that a company then takes official responsibility for the receiver of the pass. The policy on Newsvine thus far has been that every writer is responsible for their own writings and actions.

I would, however, like to investigate the issuance of limited passes in the future though.

Well you'd want an approval process, of course.

From the article:

Ludicida grande bold

From below one of the pics:

ludia grande bold

I think what you mean is Lucida Grande Bold. I'm not sure what non-Mac users would use, but Lucida Sans looks like the most similar.

Sorry, lost my PDF file, I can give you the base file from another project that is similar, though.
